Joanne Shenandoah

Shenandoah (1958-2021) was a world-renowned Indigenous American singer songwriter & peace/human rights activist. She was a member of the Wolf Clan in the Oneida Nation, part of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquis) Confederacy in New York Sate.

She won more Native American Music Awards than any other Native singer.
