Petric (1915-2013) was a singer songwriter and a long-time cherished leader of the San Francisco Folk Music Club. Like Malvina Reynolds she began touring as a folk performer late in life.
She co-wrote a new verse to Solidarity Forever in Rise Up Singing (and edited for many years the "Folk Process" column in Sing Out! Magazine - publishing new lyrics to thousands of songs.
