We have done many tours over the years. These have consisted mainly of singalong concerts where we hand out copies of one of our songbooks.
Annie & Peter continue to lead singalongs and workshops together on occasion. However, Annie is going on tour on her own more often these days while Peter is focusing his energy on working for Climate Justice and doing religious education with Quakers.
Like everyone else Annie has had to suspend touring due to the pandemic. She is performing regularly online. Her regular concerts are www.riseupandsing.org/live She is also doing special events for virtual conferences and gatherings, faith communities, etc. Contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org
When the pandemic eventually wraps up, the Pete's 100th Anniversary Tour will continue! (the anniversary tour was extended due to the Coronavirus social distancing requirements.) We are beginning work on planning a later to the Midwest (OH, IN, WI, MN, MI) with Magpie. Let us know if you'd like to help us organize or publicize one of these great concerts!
Annie toured California with Emma's Revolution in Jan/Feb 2020 in California and the Southeast in March
Annie and/or Peter have led over forty of these Seeger singalong concerts across New England, the Mid-Atlantic, California & the Southeast - with Charlie King, Sally Rogers, Emma's Revolution, Magpie and others.
"Rise Again: The Tour"
After Rise Again was released in September 2015 we performed in over 60 singalong concerts celebrating the release of Rise Again (see Locations).
In many of our concerts we have been joined by a wonderful array of other performers who have songs in the new book. These great artists have joined us for one or more of our concerts: Lou & Peter Berryman, Tom Chapin, emma's revolution, Bev Grant, Bill Harley, Kim & Reggie Harris, Joe Jencks, Charlie King, Magpie, John McCutcheon, Tom Paxton and many more! Full performers list
We have focused our concerts on building hope, resilience and resistance. We stand with people of color, immigrants, women and the LGBTQ community - all facing great threats to their dignity and safety today.
