Matt Watroba

Watroba is an American folk musician and singer songwriter based in Detroit, Michigan.

He has performed regularly for many years with Robert B. Jones. He & Robert co-founded the Detroit non-profit Common Chords: Working to Tear Down the Walls that Divide Us.

He is also well-known as folk DJ of the Folk Like Us program for Detroit Public Radio, the nationally syndicated Sing Out Radio Magazine and Folk Alley. In 2019 he was inducted into the Folk DJ Hall of Fame by the Folk Alliance. His currrent show is "Folk With Matt Watroba" which can be heard on WKAR out of E. Lansing MI or streamed live at www.wkar.org. Sunday nights from 6--9 PM (ET).
