**This concert is CANCELLED for Friday.**

Announcement - organizers have determined to cancel the event in interest of caring for our community intergenerational community, and as advised by the US Department of State, keeping the health and well-being of our communities front and center.

As this is an evolving challenge, we appreciate understanding of this late notice to concertgoers of this decision to cancel. Refund requests will be honored by the musicians if needed, though your ticket donation for this benefit concert is still welcome, and thanks for still considering support & sponsorship!

It is also still possible to make a donation that will support Innovation Law Lab's important work with refugees, as well as the work that Annie Patterson and Peter Blood are doing building hope and courage through performimng, songleading, and creating activist and group singing songbooks and online resources.

For refund requests email Peter Blood at: rasongbook@gmail.com

Please help pass this announcement update to any groups or individuals invited, as posted on this Facebook event page

Celebrating Pete Seeger's Centennial.

Pete was born on May 3rd, 1919. He spent his life working for a better world through song. Join us for an evening that honors his work and carries on the tradition of singing for justice and resilience.

Songleader/performers. This concert will feature Annie Patterson (the co-creator of the songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again) and Mary Witt, vocalist and bass player of The O-tones. Annie & Mary recently recorded a new CD "Fearless: Celebrating Women Singers" and will perform some songs from that CD.

Singalong concert. Although the evening will feature performed songs by Annie and Mary, the audience will also be encouraged to join them in singing out of If I Had a Hammer, a new collection of songs that Pete wrote or was great at performing and leading. Annie created this songbook especially to honor the 100th anniversary of Pete Seeger's birth. Copies will be available to borrow or buy at the concert - or you can pre-order copies now to pick up when you arrive.

Tickets. You can buy advance tickets now on this site: give your name at the "will call" list at the door. Tickets also will be available at the door for a suggested donation of $20. ("Be generous! Be affordable!")  Under 18 free. No one turned away for lack of funds. (Note: Annie & Mary's house concert in Atlanta on Saturday March 14 is sold out but there are still plenty of tickets available for this concert.)

This concert is a benefit for Innovation Law Lab, which assists immigration lawyers in asylum cases. "We work where the threat is greatest - where people and legal systems are most vulnerable to attack. We are deployed in immigrant detention centers and hostile judicial jurisdictions across the United States."

There will be two sets at 7:00 and about 8:20 with an intermission in between.
