Hope & Courage - Northampton
Online ticket sales are now closed. There are still about 30 tickets available for walkup admissions. We encourage you to arrive a half an hour early if you want to make sure to get in. Thank you for supporting this concert!
Come join us in this singalong event to lift up hope and courage in this holiday season. We will sing songs together out of our new Rise Again songbook that affirm our respect and appreciation for all the people that make up our community - across race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and national origin.
We will be joined in the second set by special guests Anand Nayak (of the band Rani Arbo & Daisy Mayhem) and Polly Fiveash (author of the song "My Granddaughter's Wedding Day", which is in Rise Again and honors her mother's work as a climate activist.)
You can buy tickets online now or at the door for a suggested donation of $10-15/adult and $5 for those under 18 ("be affordable, be generous!"). Note: if you order tickets online, you will be on a "will call list" at the door.
Bring a copy of Rise Again if you have one or purchase one now to pick up at the concert. Copies will also be available to borrow or buy at the concert.
This concert is sponsored by the Pioneer Valley's monthly sing "RUSH" (Rise Up Singing in Harmony) with support from Northampton Friends Meeting and community groups working for racial justice and immigrant rights.
Traffic and parking will be harder than usual because of the "Arts Walk & Holiday Stroll" taking place that evening in downtown Northampton. For more information go to:
